A Suitcase and some Cribs

Hello my lovely mini friends…
It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to post and I blame this mainly on us actually having a summer lol.  Yes I’m guilty of having some fun time in the glorious weather, it may have been a bit rainy in-between but over all we’ve had some hot hot sun.  Also, we’ve a poorly doggie at the moment and so much of my time has been taken over caring for him, poor thing he’s happy and still all bright eyed but he’s got IBD that’s the equivalent to crohn’s in a human, so he’s been quite poorly.

Anyhooo, I’ve managed a couple of mini makes, I finally finished my first opening suitcase, I decided I’d make lots of changes to the next one I make, including adding wheels and a fold away handle but for now this one will become part of my personal dolls house collection as it’s not quite good enough to sell.

I also made a couple of little cribs with an antique styling to them, a little different than my normal mini makes but they were very quick and easy to make.  I’ll be placing one up for sale here and the other will go up for sale in my Etsy shop.

I’m in the process of making pushchairs but with everything that I have on right now I have no idea how long it will take me to finish them.

Hopefully things will get back to normal in the next couple of months and I’ll be back to making my minis full time again.
Big mini hugs

Shabby Chic

Hello my lovely mini friends…
Well we've reached 200 so I’ll be drawing the winner of my giveaway this weekend and I’ll let you know the winner on Monday, so still a little time to enter if you haven’t already :)

Aside from working on dolls, prams and my caravan I've been doing a little shabby chic project, everything is up for sale on my shop page and if you need to know how much postage is to your country or the cost of combined postage just message me Enquiries@teenytinythings.co.uk

I can never decide on colours and whenever I paint something for myself it’s almost guaranteed that I repaint it several times so when making the shabby chic furniture below I decided to just take three of everything and paint them all different colours to see which one I might choose when I do up my shabby house (yes another project in the making lol).

Everything is displayed in the same room corner which has a wooden floor, wood panelling and yellow wallpaper with pink roses on it.  I made several room corners which all fit next to each other or stack and I decorated each one differently.

Well here are the pictures…

Well see you all on Monday - when I give you the winner of the TTT draw.

Traditional Pink Carriage Pram

This is my latest pram created to order, based on another pram made some time back.  As always it has lots of details including moving wheels, a fully padded and lined inner, shaped handle, shopping tray, moving hood, removable apron, matching bag and contrasting bedding.

I am taking orders for April atm so get in touch if you would like something creating in miniature.

Big mini hugs

My New Blogs

Hello everyone, hope you all had a lovely, lovely Christmas.  It’s almost New Year!  I wonder how you are all going to celebrate.  I shall be popping out for a meal with friends rather early in the evening and then off home to celebrate with the next door neighbours who are having a party.

Well, with the New Year looming and all things new on the horizon I decided to split up my blogs, I’m part way through moving my thatch cottage blog to its own spot and I’ve begun a blog on my new caravan that  good old Santa brought me.  I’ll be doing a giveaway to promote them both very soon so keep an eye out.

On the cards for this coming year so far are a couple of pram orders (as always lol) a couple of retro record players and a tutorial for a garden table and chairs set that will be published in Dolls House & Miniature Scene.

Do check out my other blogs, I’ve included a nice set of pictures showing you how to make a little comfy arm chair on my cottage blog and I shall be adding lots of pictures of all the projects I work on while bringing my caravan to life.  Future caravan projects include decorating the caravan, a miniature wind chime, tiny candles in lanterns, upholstering the furniture, making card buckets & jugs and many other mini projects.

Well that’s all for this year, have a lovely time this evening, keep safe and have a very
Happy New Year!  xx
