Just an update

Hello everyone, thank you for the fantastic comments that you give me on my work, really makes my day.  The first draw will be made this evening and the result shall be up on here by Monday (tomorrow).  To enter the facebook draw, just go here http://www.facebook.com/teenytinythings.miniatures and like my page.

Next week I’m planning on making lots of prams, I’ve decided to cut out about 6 bodies for my new traditional silver cross style prams and then I’m going to make all the chassis before moving on to making lots of hoods for them, not sure how long the actual process of lining each pram and creating a working hood will take but I’ve decided on four of the colours so far. I want to make more shopping trolleys and some suitcases too.  I also want to do more sculpting but this is probably going to take me about three weeks to even start with all the projects I have on.  I wish someone would put more hours in the day lol.  Besides all this I’ve got about twenty projects in the make, two cots, several Moses baskets, some shopping bags, shoes and sandals (wearable of course), some toys, another blue cord pram, a modern twin pushchair and two other prams.  Like I said... more hours please :D

In the make...

This is my new project, it's still in the creation process... I just saw that non-opening suitcases were going for between £77 and £150 on the internet... well I'm not going to charge that but this suitcase will open, it has a front pocket, it will have straps inside a handle and wheels when finished and it's fully lined.
What do you think?

Prams and Beachwear

Hello everyone,

Firstly I’d like to say a huge thank you to all those lovely people who have placed a link to my prams on their page... THANK YOU!  And huge hugs.

Well I’ve been busy making a classic old style pram and it’s been a bit tricky sorting out the style an dimensions, I didn’t want it to be too small... I have noticed that some old style prams the manufactured sort are way too tiny and the dimensions are all wrong so that when you place your 1/12th scale moma doll next to it, it just looks strange.  I remember a lady I babysat for as a child having one of those huge silver cross prams, I pushed it and I couldn’t see over it even though I was tall for my age, it was a monster and I’m sure a five year old child would have had no problems sitting in it so I wanted my pram to be big like that.  I think I’m getting there, I’ve had a bit of trouble finding things to use to make a proper arm that works on the hood but I may have cracked it, I’ve about three different things to try and I’ll go with what works best.  I love tiny details they make me feel like I’ve achieved something.  I’ll post pictures as soon as I’ve perfected it.

I’ve also had orders for a tiny buggy, some shopping trolleys, a highchair, another pram and I’ve got a big pushchair to make too, oh and I did some beachwear for a lady who wants to hang it on her washing line, very cute! I’m half way through my orders but I better press on if I want to finish them.

Thank you for all your wonderful comments, I love to read them, they always make me happy.
Big mini hugs

Teeny Tiny Tutus

When I was a child, like many little girls I went to ballet class, when I became a mother I sent my little girl and I myself attended tap class and private ballet class too!  I love dancing, and while wondering what to make next I decided to make some tiny tutus for teeny dolls house children.  So here they are...
